Breakdown Medley (B. Paisley/J. Reed) - Soenke Meinen and Phil Wiechert

...not very easy to record this 2 beautiful, slow jazz ballads after a hard day at the conservatory and being awake for 18 hours. This was our 4723rd try, a few minutes after midnight.

1. "Nervous Breakdown", written by Brad Paisley, including a very cool impro section by Phil Wiechert.

2. "Jerry´s Breakdown", written by Jerry Reed with some some of my variations on the A-Part.

We were so dead, when we recorded this. Before this take we said "This is definately our last try." and we were so amazed that we played it not that bad (like you can hear at the end of the video).
