Askwith Educational Forum at Harvard University on Massachusetts English for the Children initiative; debate moderated by Tony Randolph of WBUR, with Ron Unz of English for the Children and Catherine Snow of Harvard University.
The audience is as scathing as she is. It's frightening sometimes how difficult it can be for academics to look away from their books and into the real world. I'm no Harvard graduate or anything, but isn't observation supposed to be the envelope of scientific theory in the first place? (as opposed to dogma?)
