o crap. if that was me i would have answered the phone and when i realized who it was i would probably have a spaz attack, drop the phone, pick it back up, scream bloody murder, and john would think i belong in the psyche ward and hang up on me. and than i would probably die. :)

I called John but Jared answered and pretended to work at a sub shop xD. I knew it was him and I was like "yeah well I'm calling cuz I thought this was john's number and I wanted him to sing happy birthday to my friend." and Jared was like "I can do that!!!"

i would definatly rather have the voicemail so i could have it forever. plus if i would have answered, i would have A: not believed it was him at first, so waste time being an idiot, and b: be so nervous to talk to him, waste the othher time also being an idiot! (:
