This song was in the original repertoire of the band, during the days of playing in Toners ,the Baggot Inn and the Embankment in the early Dublin days.Dermot was ripping newspapers,George was incognito and Pat Gibbs was still bald. The line up here is Squeezebox Teddy,Tommy Gallagher,Dermot O'Connor,George Kaye and Leo Gillespie..

  • Any plans for a Greek tour Leo? Thanks for the music brother.

  • @VasilisBotoulas Have'nt been there for many many years, but still have fond memories of your amazing land.If anyone has a plan for me,I would certainly consider returning to sing a song or two...(leogiillespie@hotmail.com)Keep n touch my friend....

  • We recorded an album in Trend studio but it's probably buried in dust in their archives as it was never released.I remember leaving a cassette copy with Big D radio then every trace of the event kind of disapeared, maybe it was a bit too controversial for the time.We did release a single of Old McDonald meets the kami kazi pilot ,which became a minor hit in Dublin...Would love to hear your recording of "Dayo"...

  • Wow....Just like the old days in the Baggot Bin, 'Permanent Cure' are a welcome reminder of Dublin in the 70's

Was at the first night they played in The Baggot Inn. Remember a few songs... Hunting Tigers out in India.... If the river was wiskey...and many more......

  • @vectravi2008 Yes,interesting times and amazing atmospheres, was happy to been a part of those hysterical days...You are the first person who actually says they were there....I wonder if there is anyone else out there who witnessed that blip in reality.
