if it's cold outside and you wanna use this to run your block heater so the engine will start the next morning, do you need to run an extention cord through something, or can that be built right in?

My company put one of these units in my truck. it sounds noisy at first but as it settles in it quiets down and doesn't keep you up. I've not tried the heat mode yet, however i use the Cool mode every night. One thing you have to keep in mind is, if you use it the whole night and don't drive a good 8 hours the next day, the batteries will not be charged enough to run it the next night. Put all in all i love this unit and have slept many nights with the temp in my truck below 70 and not idling.
