I saw these guys in Berkeley, California. in a very small club. Absolutely fantastic band! Those really were the good old days ... If they were from the British Isles and had a weird name, I went to see them. Never got proven wrong ....

I lived in Liverpool in the early-mid eighties and I just assumed that music would carry on evolving and improving and that there was nothing that special about the bands I was watching and listening to- WRONG!

was this the Larks In The Park gig? I think this is the one where McNabb got beaten up by bouncers when he tried to get into the aftershow party. One of their best songs, this one. There's an epic live version on the reissue of the first album.
