Here are a few of the alternate openings that the seires had. They were trying a way to open each episode like when Boober says "Down at Fraggle Rock." So they tried i think all five fraggles and the ones here are Gobo's and Wembley's openings. Enjoy!

  • They only used them when they were on HBO back when they first aired. I wished they did include them when they put them on DVD but they didn't. But maybe they'll release some of the stuff that wasn't ever released before someday.

  • Not at all i wished they were

  • Thanks. I never knew if Disney ever aired them with the openings or not. But glad to know they didn't. I guess HBO was the only place unless the Hallmark channel did?

  • Did the Disney Channel have these alternate openings too? If they did i never knew about it. Plus the time they started showing it on Disney Channel i had to start back to school. It always made me mad. Plus i never had any VHS to record only parents. And i never knew how at the time. My sister is the one who showed me way later.

  • HBO, TVS(UK), or CBC?

  • I think they might have aired on HBO and or TVS (UK). But i'm pretty sure i heard someone say something they aired on HBO.

  • Do the Gobo and Wembley openings remain intact on the "Scared Silly" and "Wembley's Egg Surprise" DVDs?

  • What about Red?

    Did she get a chance?

  • The one with Wembley still exists at the end of an HBO promo for "The Terrible Tunnel" on the Season 3 DVD

  • @AnImmovableObject : That's why they're rare. In truth, ALL of the F5 would each have an opening, but by the time the show went to air, the people involved decided to scrap the Mokey and Red openings (luckily for everyone's favorite attention-seeking redheaded tomboy, her appearances outside of the Rock in which she sings the theme are good enough) and air the Gobo & Wembley openings only once or two, before finally just using Boober for all of them.

  • Cool! And also--hey what the heck? :P I own the first two seasons which include both those episodes and the openings aren't like that.

  • Does any one know if they are on the DVDs like this?

  • @Grover1234 Yes it did.
