Color has arrived on our Tomato Patch. The Stupice and Early Girl Varieties have started to color and the Ace Variety will be right behind. This is the 12th week since planting.

  • what kind of fertilizer do you give your tomatoes?

  • Other than the Natural compost we manufacture I add Calcium Nitrate through the season, as needed for stopping Blossom end rot and increasing Fruit set. It is used sparingly when needed

  • I have monster vines... 10+ hours of sunshine, grown in sandy loam with 50% composted manure, augmented with peletized lime and bi-weekly side-dress of 10-10-10. Early girls have been in the ground 44 days and have color on the tomatoes; plants are almost 5 feet tall and keep on growing.
