I have monster vines... 10+ hours of sunshine, grown in sandy loam with 50% composted manure, augmented with peletized lime and bi-weekly side-dress of 10-10-10. Early girls have been in the ground 44 days and have color on the tomatoes; plants are almost 5 feet tall and keep on growing.

Other than the Natural compost we manufacture I add Calcium Nitrate through the season, as needed for stopping Blossom end rot and increasing Fruit set. It is used sparingly when needed
