Oh yes, Peter Criss's drumming, especially in his live shows, is just fucking wicked. In the beginning, 74,75,and 76 Peter was as tight as a Virgin and kept that band together!

The drumming is fantastic in this song. Peter's a little quick on the upbeat but his groove is infectious and Bonzo-esque. Lots of additional notes not heard in the studio or Alive versions.

@leifpaul Thats just my opinion, I have seen KISS with Peter, Eric Carr, Eric Singer and Carr is the best with Singer 2nd. And yes I saw Peter in 77. Maybe sucked is a harsh word, not as good as the other 2 IMO. Ace was best IMO. But I liked Bruce too.

@intimidator4x4 peter sucked?then i guess you can`t listen to the records peter did with kiss,since you find him to be terrible.i guess ace sucked too,seeing that vinnie vincent is a better guitarist than ace.imo kiss was the best with peter and ace.eric carr was playing too fast.on the albums he did he was more than fine.kiss started to go downhill with animalize although it was a successful album.the music wasnt as good as the earlier material.

@romeokid69 You have a valid point. Peter's drumming WAS always too fast or slow but it certainly isn't BAD here. A lot of drummers(Moonie for example) had uneven tempos. Hell,even Bonham did. Peters drumming at this show is very energetic and you can tell he's enjoying himself(and the cocaine he was probably ingesting throughout) As far as your comment about Ace not being sober,I have to agree. He goes through periods of sobriety but always ends up back on booze and drugs.

I can tell this was taken from Kissology because of the dubbed crowd noise. It's noticeable at first during the tom/bass break on SHE.
