@BlackBearTexas thank you BlackBear. i do think that the Avetts and their willingness to be overtly kind and forthright brings out the best in all of us. to me, this same principle is operative x infinity with the little baby whose birthdate we guesstimate and celebrate at Christmastime each year.Mercy and Love will triumph, so i believe, persevere through to the Happiest of All endings where everything sad will come untrue...because of that Baby.

@MyNamesToast thank you Toast. and i want to say also ...congrats to you that you can cover a Mumford and Sons song like that ....and i really appreciated the way you let folks know you are a Jesus follower/lover but also that you relate to folks from wherever they come........
I have only recently found out about the Avetts and Mumford and Sons ... Some young folks who knew i liked Ted Hawkins very much thought i would like a bluegrass or folksy sound with integrity as much as a bluesy one!

i love that they will stake out the position that not saying "i love you" because you really don't love someone is "improper", because not-loving someone is wrong if we are supposed to love eacheveryone. Amen to this.
From this core belief runs much of what makes these guys and their integrity so dearly appealing to folks, imho.
Thanks guys...may God grant you 3 minutes of rest for every 1 minute of sleep, and 3 hours of loveandfriendshipandfellowship from every minute you get with your family
