  • @PoutinePete - there is no need to compare. both have their challenges. watch some Paul Gilbert video and you show me a classical guitarist that can play his stuff... Some people think flamenco is even harder than classical; so why even compare? I personally think classical guitar is boring and the amount of work that you need to put in is not worth it. Don't get upset, that's just my opinion. I would rather spend hours on a flamenco piece.

  • Classical guitar is a million times harder then the best rock guitar lead! I know, I've played both for many years and there's no comparisons. Classical guitar is incredibly demanding, technical, and both your hands have to be dexterous and skilled!
