i love how at the middle they have the intro song before the fast music starts. sounds like a remix of the normal boss battle theme?

Yeah, the intro theme really gives it more epicness. I never thought about the last part being a remix of the boss theme, it does have a similar sound. Though primarily it's an arrangement of Kefka's theme.
