Just before the Academy Awards were held on February 22, 2009, DigElog ROCORI had the chance to interview a Minnesota connection to the film Milk, Chaplain Gerard Dols. While there is some dispute among gay activists as to whether or not Dols is directly involved in the film, there is no disputing that he personally knew Harvey Milk. Our camera crew sat down with Chaplain Dols for an hour to discuss not only his connection the film, but also to learn more about his life. Here is a sneak peak of our interview with him. Stay tuned for more.
