(full version) In car cam of American Iron 95 mustang GT near the end of the race, Spec tires are hot, he loses it and hits the wall at California Speedway. This in car camera footage was recorded during an American Iron race event at the California Speedway after the Brothers Performance car had just taken the lead on turn 2 of the high speed oval. This video has some exciting bumper to bumper high speed pedal to the metal action!

The nice thing about Mustangs even though this will cost lots of money you can still pick up a v6 body never been wrecked fairly cheap vs some cars just a clean body will cost a tone of money.

I've never driven at cal speedway, but I've been in a similar situation when something gets on your tires and kicks your rear end out. Nothing you can do except sacrifice some positions or hope you don't crash if you try to push it. It's like being on ice, you just can't control it so hopefully this was a learning lesson for him.

You can tell from the comments who has driving a car on Cal speedway and who has not. This guy is holding the gas on the oval at 130- 140 mph. All you street guys that think you are fast with high HP cars WILL get smoked by a 100hp car on this track. I do feel that the driver could have saved this. That is a full throttle 120mph straight. i would say the grass did it!

Only those who have left the track @ Cali know how close those walls are--grass is like ice-- BUT nice save #1, although looks like the car never settled...MO MONEY...good luck
