I agree with what is shown in the video. Taking notes while in the lecture help to look like you're listening (because you actually are) and they will help you retain what you are learning if you review them frequently.
Pictures can help make things easily remember as well. Mind maps are a great choice for this.

@zubatzu Humans aren't machines, we will always be under psychology. if you look up the psychology of attraction, you will see that proximity is a key to liking someone. that's actually very good advice, It's not foolproof, not all exposure is good exposure.
Being noticed positively will up your grade, because it's harder to fail "Good guy greg", than "that student"
Very good tips, just finished my Masters, i wish i watched this sooner.

@MouthofSaurons I agree !! In any Wikipedia article , from the short to lengthy.... one has only to go toward close to the bottom of the page to find reference sources that the article uses. Although University Press books , Peer Reviewed Academic Journals do have reliable trusted information ; many time one has to PAY / PURCHASE THE INFORMATION or BE A member / current student of the organization / school that has access to such information in the library .

I come to videos to watch things, not read things.
I am guilty of falling asleep in class but that's largely because I understood the material being taught as I had previously studied it for years. It didn't look good but I passed the class with an A and baffled the professor.
I can't stress how important proof reading your work is. I find it repulsive how students will use short-hand (such as BRB or LOL) in their papers. Your writing is a reflection of your intelligence. Remember that.
Excellent music choice for this video. Thank you.
