http://www.facebook.com/IMSTILLHEREMOVIE The directorial debut of Oscar-nominated actor Casey Affleck, I'M STILL HERE is a striking portrayal of a tumultuous year in the life of internationally acclaimed actor Joaquin Phoenix. With remarkable access, I'M STILL HERE follows the Oscar-nominee as he announces his retirement from a successful film career in the fall of 2008 and sets off to reinvent himself as a hip hop musician. Sometimes funny, sometimes shocking, and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye.

  • @SpaceAceTX You are absolutely right!!

I feel sorry for this generation of kids listening to this so called "music" It's an assembly line of made up "artists" and images.

Videos started all this shit by giving us "pictures" to go with the song, so it's no longer what l imagine the song could be, they TELL us what the song is. I hate that, I always have; that's why I detest videos. I never wanted any images "spoon fed" to me, that's what my imagination is for.

    You know what I mean?

  • @HLB1081 Yeah she's soooo talented she even wrote for the Pussycat Dolls & Britney, I wouldn't be bragging about that. Listen to the lyrics, if you can consider them lyrics. She's a trained dog with a team of trainers that plan her every move, an invention of the record company shaped from clay into what the tennie boppers would buy

  • He completely made a fool of puff daddy in this movie. The best part was when he played him some of his "music". The look on puff's face was hilarious!!!

  • @SpaceAceTX I dont listen 2 that shit either........but look at you buddy....what a fucking boring ass world...with your classic rock ass....in your opinion gramps

  • this movie is way underrated. it is one of the best that i have ever seen

  • Support your good local Artists !

  • @SpaceAceTX I agree with what you're saying in a lot of ways, but in other ways, you're unfairly attacking "hip-hop". This would be more of the "popular music" mentality, than the "rap" mentality. Also, I think Diddy's initial question to JP was more because he didn't take JP seriously on the music thing, and was seeing him mostly as some Hollywood guy who just wanted to make a hobby rap album. They really do not make fresh artists pay for studio time out of pocket. You pay out of your sales.

  • Diddy: "me...Me!.." xD

  • loved this movie, although it was hard to watch at times great acting by J.P, even though it was fake it was the most realistic portrait of celebrity ive seen with all the human flaws, the real disturbing thing is how everybody in the media reacted to it, in this sick culture they created of tearing people down has become big bussiness, the whole celebrity media amounts to a pack of jackals with a whiff of blood.

  • holy shit how does everything turn into being about lady gaga? why is she constantly the target for stupid people that have no idea whats going on in pop?

  • Some people didn't get it. This is a joke, it is suppose to be funny :)

  • fake
