One of the single greatest errors today is this idea that one can sin with impunity and God cannot see their sins because "He can only see the righteousness of Jesus." There are many variations of this teaching, but they revolve around the misconception that "imputation" means a transference of righteousness to one's account. We will look at every single time the word translated "impute" occurs in the New Testament so we can arrive at the obvious meaning, which is nothing remotely close to transference. Getting a firm grasp on the true doctrine of imputation is important because holding to the traditional error leaves many in sin and causes them to mock the cross of Christ. I pray that you will prayerfully watch this video and let the Scriptures speak for themselves. Give up the vain traditions of men that keep you bound in sin and rob you of the blessings of holiness through faith in Jesus Christ!

  • I really love your videos man, It does not matter how long it is, you have so much wisdom and clarity when it comes to scriptures. I always get edified watching your videos, you have a passion to win souls to Christ and that is needed in ministry. I have a question, you said you are not apart of any denomination? I am, and I feel that God is leading me away from that. do you have any advice you can give me?

    Be blessed man, I intent to watch every video and new ones:)

  • @bowiehs Thank you for the edifying words my brother! I do not have any advice on where to go as I just do not know of any denominations that are not compromised, and many are apostate. That does not mean some church labelled non-denominational is any better. I would suggest finding believers locally and meeting in each others house for breaking of bread, prayer, singing, and exhortation from the Scriptures. All the things "churches" should be doing, but they replace with entertainment.

  • @BrotherRyanHicks That is sound wisdom,you are right man. I want to meet other believers locally and have a Bible study and just edifying the body of Christ. I seen to much legalistic things going on in church and I really feel that God is leading me in another direction. That they are led by the Spirit are the sons of God, I have to follow his leading. I just admire that you are not apart of any denomination, that is rare to find, and I want to do that soon.

    you are welcome man:)

  • @bowiehs There have to be other saints in your area that are also looking for fellowship with other believers. Just keep in prayer and the Lord will give you wisdom liberally (James 1:5)! God bless you my friend!

  • @RyanHicks; you are so right brother; American men have this idea that they can dunk their head in water, recite John 3/16, and bam... They're saved;

  • @dandyd032000 Amen!

  • Wow! Very nice! I'm glad I found your channel.

  • @messengermiller Watch the video. His righteousness is dealt with in the video. It is not transferred to anyone's account like the modern heresy teaches. It has nothing to do with keeping the תּוֹרָה (which is to fall from grace and attempt to be justified by works of the law). Please read Hebrews 10 to see what the atonement is about and the book of Galatians to see how Torah-keeping gets you nowhere with God.

  • @messengermiller I monitor comments because I am accountable to God for what I allow to be posted on my channel and videos. If I left them open all kinds of heretics would post their spam and drivel, the atheists would post their profanity, etc.

  • and why are you monitoring comments? Don't you believe in what your teaching is true? If so, then you don't need the monitor them.
