@DukeofUSA Hong Kong relied heavily on near-to slave labour from mainland China, that's how come they are so successful, plus, their living conditions are so good for some simple facts, they have one of the most efficient social welfare systems which covers all of its population in both education and healthcare.

@MrJapper88 we could easily stipulate no support for people under the following conditions:
1. Children are failing in school with no actions on the parents part to get them help.
2. Parents have a criminal history of drug crimes, violent crime or property crime (theft).
3. No employment of suitable nature that at least brings them to a bare minimum income
4. No pending cases of lack of payment for child support in any family courts .
Lots of other possibilities as well...

@MrJapper88 You then remove any semblence of 'welfare'. The safety nets in place should be for those members of society who are productive, responsible and followng through on their obligations. By making such support systems conditional we would both encourage, support and even reward those among our citizens who are trying to improve their situation and simultaneously punish those very scumsuckers who are leeches on our society.

@MrJapper88 as far as food/shelter/clothing etc goes I wouldnt want the gvernment being responsible for the making of such products because in the past when it has been tried there is likely to be presence of low quality as compared with Free Market product. In this case we could employ a quasi socialist manner of control by providing annual stipends which could ONLY be used for food (food stamps), rent control (already exists), clothing/household goods ("XYZ stamps).

@MrJapper88 its really quite simple. Under a purely Socialist system they would get jack shit because it would be based on their productivity toward the commonwealth. Under a socialist system the basic necessities of life are provided for to all citizens and then anything above and beyond that can easily be supported by a correllary capitalist/entreprenurial system.
Shelter/power/warer, etc all under the umbrella of government to ensure a safety net, all else under a Free Market.

@DukeofUSA i agree with you. Economy shouldnt be runned for the goverment( like in the comunist sistem) neither for the bank mosters who are more dangerous that a hundred armies( Thomas Jefferson said that).... But sadly, the greed in both sistems, is always the x factor to fuck everything...

How would socialism deal with inner city scum who refuse to work stay up late drink do drugs all day and pimp their moms and sisters out for easy money? The American system say give them welfare and look the other way. I want to kill these fucks and get rid of them. Why should we force the tax payer to pay for them to live? They add no value to mankind.

@halloranedward That is true. The school system now is totally screwed up. They are too worried about being "politically correct".
-
@IFoundIslam1 it is amusing (scary) how many different variations of these simple definitions other than the true ones our marxist education system has been teaching kids.

@halloranedward thumbs up
Is that the GOP debate?

@Osmodaful not quite, socialism simply means that the government controls prices instead of the market. a socialist government that allows owning stuff, is called "fascism" and a socialist government that does not allow owning stuff is called "communism" so communism is one of the two kinds of socialism. both take away commercial rights, communism takes away property rights.
