His book will change the way you look at life, at least it did for me. I can't imagine what he goes through everyday. READ LONE SURVIVOR! I have already read it 3 times.

You guys knocking Marcus need to take a look in the mirror. He not only was a Seal, but he survived a experience that would have killed you. So he should be "full of himself". God in his infinite wisdom saved Marcus, and for that alone I would if in his shoes feel I was walking on water for the rest of my life.

@espanto28 That is, in my opinion, what makes his book that much better than the majority of similar ones. He doesn't dehumanize or ignore the local population.

His book was amazing and worth reading. I would love to meet this man and hear him speak in person. He is a true American.

This man, as modest as he is at heart, does represent the greatest of all America, for everything he stands for, his actions and even that modesty. My prayers are with him for the pain he still suffers.
