Your company is a great model for others but what are you doing for unemployed Americans here? Patagonia, please use your ingenuity and leadership to bring these jobs back to Americans. Why don't you make your own denim for instance? Make the best stuff in the world and sell it to others too. I know it wont be cheap to start but but changes like that need to happen. And it will reduce your "footprint".
why don't we just buy good quality second hand goods to save on virgin materials in the first place?

why are you doing this in vietnam and not america? cheaper workers by anychance? you might just love vietnam i guess.
