Scion & Mixcast Present This behind the scenes look at Bling. This 90-minute documentary takes a hard-hitting look at how the flashy world of commercial hip hop played a significant role in the 10-year civil war in Sierra Leone, West Africa. BLING follows three hip-hop celebrities: Raekwon (Wu Tang Klan), Paul Wall and Reggaetón king, Tego Calderon. They visit the capital of Freetown where they survey the devastated country, meet the hip hop community, as well as encounter refugees and former child soldiers first hand.
i applaud the effort, but youre barking up the wrong tree trying to invoke a sense of concscience in rappers. 90% of them sold their souls for this fame and fortune. they dont giva fuck about no blood diamonds. most of them came from the hood where they themselves mamed and murdered for money/ chains/ diamonds/ drugs. if they themselves kill for money and greed what makes you think they give a fuck about people being murdered in africa? they dont. which is why bling is still huge in hip hop.

typical negro music. no creativity and nothing but materialism.
and to think of all the Whites who designed and sold all those digitec and roland beat boxes, recording gear, microphones and shit to those gulible negros who claim how "the man" keeps them down, while pouring more money into "the mans pocket" then any other culture on the face of this earth...
what a bunch of blind hypocrites LOL
