The same problem like the one in Thailand exists in every democratic society. There always are conflicts between people from different background. That's why election is the final say. The majority decides. it doesn't say only smart people can decide. Those whose candidate lost need to wait till the next election. Obviously, a big group of Thais don't think like that.

The educated people tend to think they are always right and have the right to make decisions for the poors. But they forget to look at things from a poor person's angle. And that's conflict occurs. Poor people want to see direct, concrete results and thaksin delivered that to them. They don't care about philosophical or social or political implications of Thaksin's ethics.

I'm not PAD but I dont think PAD siad "should not vote becoz of uneducated"... we all thai people can be voted for the right politicians. not voted for guys who give you that money.
