You'll learn things you never knew you never knew

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sunsweet berries of the Earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth

The rainstorm and the river are my brothers
The heron and the otter are my friends
And we are all connected to each other
In a circle, in a hoop that never ends

How high does the sycamore grow?
If you cut it down, then you'll never know
And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon

For whether we are white or copper skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains

You can own the Earth and still
All you'll own is Earth until

not all of what you say is accurate. tribes like the lakota, cheyenne, arapaho, ojibwe, and others probably migrated down from the north over a land bridge, not from the south. other tribes came from the pacific islands. yes the mexica and other southern peoples had great culture, but to say that they went beyond the romans, and europeans overall is out of touch. and it was the spanish, whose language you speak, who conquered mexico and killed your people not the europeans.

Great video and you're absolutely right. Figured most of this out myself. We certainly weren't taught all this in school - maybe little hints.

As a "white" person, I would hope anyone who is proud of their native heritage would also understand that there are people like me who are well aware this system of government, control and pollution is no way for anyone to live, anywhere. Doesn't need to be this complicated.

Columbus was a true hero. He discovered the Americas. The Europeans tried to civilize the natives, but they were too stubbornly proud to assimilate into European culture. They were given numerous chances to assimilate and better their plight. Without the Europeans, do you guys still exist. At this point in time, you only have yourselves to blame if you don't succeed. In the land of opportunity, anyone who works hard can enjoy a wonderful life. That's a fact. Take it or leave it.
