I saw him on a ski trip in Mammoth, CA in 2006. He was in a mid mountain lodge watching the NCAA basketball playoffs and hanging with some people chatting. As he was getting up my wife and I cruised up to him and asked if he could take a picture with us, he was very gracious and super cool about it. I watched him later holding the door open for people as they came into the lodge, not your stereo-typical Hollywood person.
