How would you play a C#m7 or Am?

@musicchef88 They'd have to be in the key of the song.

Can you freely select whatever chords you want in there? I mean what if I want to play a C9 or something?

@skitzthegemini It's all based on the key you pick.

Nice video. Do you know if the Smart Guitar allows you to change the tunings of the strings to alternate tunings (i.e. open tunings, Drop-D, C# standard "Sabbath" tuning? Is there a 7-string guitar available?

@seangarland Don't think it does. It does let you change keys, and it presents the appropriate chords for those chords scales.
