  • Thanks for commenting. I just sold it to a Mopar head who will redo it. My wife still has her 330 model from the same year. It's a 4-door, and we just redid the factory a/c. Has a 318 and runs nice. It is rust-free. My car needed some work, and I was going crazy trying to keep both running. But I stayed in the Dodge family and bought a 2010 Challenger R/T that I was lusting after. Had to have a Hemi. Happy driving.

  • Hi it s me again. just to say your car has a great color, I like it with the black interiors. What size of engine does it have? Thanks.

  • It has the original 383 engine, which I rebuilt a few years ago. I upgraded to a 4 barrel carb, a hotter cam and hi-performance manifolds. Now it is similar to the late 60s "Roadrunner" engine without about 300 horsepower.

  • Nice car. Too bad the video is all washed out.

I used to have a 64 Dodge too.

  • Thanks for the comment. I am working on a new version with a Dodge 330 in it. This is my first video, and we had trouble with the exposure on an old camera. What type of Dodge did you have?

  • HI,I really liked your video, driving in Chicago with your amazing Polara... I live in Mexico and you know what.. Last week I bought a 64 Dodge Coronet (mexican car)(here the 64 Dodge-440 was called Coronet but it is exactly the same ),is a 2door HT,in very good conditions-needs a little work, has a 318-Poly engine, std., I really think this must be probably one of no more than 5 existing of these here in Mexico. your video inspires me to put my hands on it. Congratulations, enjoy your car..

  • I love the 64 Polara 500, Been wanting one for over 30 years after my Grandmother's 440 went to the crusher. There is nothing else like em. Thanks for the video. Betty is really sharp.

  • It was one of my first cars. It was the 2-door sedan, fire engine red, push-button auto, 318 CI w/4bbl. I was the 2nd owner. Probably sold it in 1973. I remember it as a very nice car. I still rembember that l-o-n-g hood as I sat behind the wheel. Not what you see in todays front drivers. Power steering & breaks only, no air. It was in mint condition when I sold it for like $700. Wish I had it now.
