@bublegun1 The book clearly states that they die in the end. But in the movie, it is left to the audience's imagination. Of course... we don't want them to die, when in fact... they do.

The movie was filmed in Jamaica and the water is called the Blue Lagoon. It's in Portland, Jamaica.

Yes, there is a "Blue Lagoon" in Jamaica, but this movie was filmed in Fiji, not Jamaica.
