  • Bleph is the inflamation of the eyelids. Dry Eye is just a problem with the tear glands. It is common to have both.

Sounds like you are describing conjunctivitis, which comes and goes when you have bleph/dry eye. usually lasts a day or 2 I find.

  • I believe eyelashes grow just like hair.

A little none fact (atleast for us men - women likely know this) about hair is that it only grows to a certain length then stops.

I believe it takes about a month for eyelashes to grow back. Whether blepharitis causes those eyelashes to fall out before they can grow back properly I don't know, but I do not think it stops eyelash growth permanently..... tho I am not a doctor. I have blepharitis tho, and it can be a bitch.

  • u kno blepharitis causes eyelash loss, i want to kno tht do they grow back normally or a person permanently goes bald from tht particular hair follicle. and how can i get them growing back normally.

  • Is Dry Eye the same as Blepharitis??

Why di I always get red eyes from this condition and a stringy mucus in the corners of my eyes?

  • Thanks for highlighting dry eye
