From what I know about Tom McClitock he's of the same ilk as Ron Paul.

California screwed the pooch when they chose Schwarzenegger over McClintock.
What I would like to see is Paul as President and McClintock as VP.

I voted Terbolizard. Its unfortuante the local media blacked him out.

McClintock is a Fred Thompson supporter, and- at the same time- a Ron Paul supporter. McClintock has done very well to incorporate much of the Libertarian style platform into his 2008 CA-04 Congressional run, as the district leans heavily Libertarian. Ron Paul himself has endorsed neither McClintock or Terblizard, as both are members of the RLC. McClintock is a social conservative and would continue funding the Iraq adventure, both in stark contrast to his fiscal conservative stance.
