Final Fantasy IX , for it's setting is Medieval fantasy and has a beautiful plot line with characters you could easily attach to. It's graphics aren't up to par with other games I was interested at the time when I stumbled upon it, but quickly caught my attention with the storyline. That was the winner. The different settings, soothing music and time to choose an action during battle (with my inexperience gaming) are great reasons, as well.

I'd say my favorite game is the Assassin Creed series thing that's going on. The graphics, the plot line, the cunning... It's just epic and I'm driving myself crazy waiting for the third installment to come out in November. e_e

Final Fantasy IX... for the story, mostly. The gameplay is good as well, but the story makes it my favorite game.
