On Aug. 28, 2006, Prof. John Mearsheimer, a respected scholar, gave a talk at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. He revealed how the powerful Israel Lobby influenced the U.S. to support Israel's recent unjust 34-days war against Lebanon, even though the conflict wasn't in America's best interest.

  • Time has not done this man a favor.

  • Endless wars for Israel, endless wars for Zionists, endless wars for money for Israel is bankrupting America. American Jews are good people. Israeli Zionists are more evil than Nazis, promoting a war for sixty years.

  • How can we forget, no matter how thin he attempts to slice it, that there is a historical context to the argument Mearsheimer is making? One finds this same premise echoed time and time again... that the Jews have too much power...too much power for their own good and ours. J'accuse Mr. Mearsheimer!

  • A PRAYER FOR PALESTINE FROM A JEW: Let us help them to create something extraordinary, just as we have for ourselves-it is in our best interest to do so.Let us help them to build a home they will love with all their hearts, as we love Israel!Wouldn’t we both be foolish to risk damaging something so precious? We are both great nations…let us never forget this.Let us nurture peace with our enemies, and recognize that they are a mirror…reflecting light unto the nations.

  • @ThinkAgainDude 30 minutes of reading and you deem yourself a sound conclusion? How can you have the dialogue we've had prior to this post and default back to this primacy? You've revealed to me a new way of looking at "to thine onself be true."

Done. Isreal/U.S. foreign policy speaks volumes to the world. Wake up.

nobody twisted your words missy. not one little bit. you're just not able to be honest with yourself. very immature, frankly. but that's what you'd expect from a believer in utopian pseudoscientific nonsense.

  • @blaziermissy

good grief. i watched it, and read the transcript. i even took the time to look up the few few studies it mentions, and then look up peer reviews of them. what did i discover? most are at best tangentally related to the point peter tries to make, and in general, they are considered of very poor quality. it is not science. it's using the trappings of science. You sound like a bible thumper who keeps telling me to look at the bible for more proof it's right.

  • @blaziermissy one way to reduce the profit motive in war - though it's always there, minimally in the form of plunder - is to re-establish a national armory.

in terms of israel and the palestinians, i don't see israel as necessarily the aggressor. my reading of the history tells me the locals eventually got restive at the influx of european jews, and in fact, they themselves began armed resistance - which escalated with their relocations....

    not that it justifies today.

  • @ThinkAgainDude Zionist..stop twisting my words....it doesn't work with me.

  • @ThinkAgainDude Too bad social evolution skipped over you..
