I was one of those dancers up front, and I was pretty pissed they didn't show anyone else but us. It WAS the band members who worked their asses off, it was their hard work that got us there. I really wish it would have turned out differently so that everyone got a chance to be shown. P.S. I'm not lying.

The show in Herald Square did not show just how great a color guard Eastern High School has. They did a silly little dance with some boxes while they are trained to throw rifles, sabers and flags high into the air and catch them or twirl their flags to the music. Two years of thought went into this show and parade; it didnt do the band or the color guard justice.

@PsychologistWise Excuse me, but the dancers, not even the whole colorguard, were shown. The band is what got them there not the few dancers they showed. Mike Arthur was being extremely selfish and being all about himself when this was shot. It was about his daughter that no one who watched this wanted to see. They watched it for the band and the WHOLE colorguard. Mike Arthur should of been professional but he wasn't. Was a horrible act on his part.

Ok guys. You all need to settle down about the color guard thing. What ended up happening is that the color guard couldn't do anything in the ACTUAL parade, so we needed to give Harold Square to them so they wouldn't complain to Mr. Arthur. I'm an alto sax in the band, so I would know. We also ended up getting a local holiday, known as Eastern High School Band Day in Louisville, Ky, so not all was lost

@TheMysteryair I agree
Wow Great shots of the colorguard!! I recall there was a band there too? Must of forgotten about them since Mr. Arthur wanted his daughter on television. I recall this being a band trip... not a family trip.. great footage of some of the colorguard...

It doesn't help Mr Arthurs case when the cameramen asked him personally "where to film"
