ipod as a functional phone

Video #2 on my new set up to use my ipod touch as a phone with call in, call out, and a ringtone. YES i have a phone number in which people can call me. GO TO IPKALL.COM GO TO IPKALL.COM GO TO IPKALL.COM GO TO IPKALL. Get your mic from touchmods.net.
I guess I should also say that you can only call in a wifi area, so no its not a cell phone, its an internet phone. Im connected to WIFI like 97% of my life, college and home so it works great for me.
Use your headphones if you dont want to make a speaker set up like mine.

I did this to prove that it could be done, not for your approval. I still dont have an iphone and will probably never get one. You missed the part about me not having an outrageous phone bill. Plus that FIFTY dollar mic can be used for VARIOUS recording programs, I have another video demonstrating this. Living life as a hacker.....ha ha. I guess thats what you call people who aren't dooped into buying the latest greatest most expensive stuff.

Why buy an iphone? The ipod touch is a perfectly functional phone with the right apps, is a hell of a lot cheaper, and the ipod touch does most of what the iphone can do. Be smarter with your money, and stop giving a shit what shallow, materialistic douche bags think!

iPod Touch + Textfree and Voice, Activate Number, download Nettalk, activate nettalk, call number to activate nettalk on Textfree. Use nettalk as outgoing calls and textfree for Pics, TXT & incoming calls. ALWAYS LEAVE Textfree running for new texts & incoming calls notification. It even has ringtone. All that you will notice is that you will have to turn your iPod Touch 4TH Gen upside down so you can hear the speaker and put the mic near your mouth on the camera side....
