@spsfish1 dude doesnt matter if it's wet or dry. it's gonna get wet anyway.

i'm good at catching saltwater minnows by the shore with a net. i just gotta watch out for stingrays

and u need the water to be cycled ( nitrogen cycle) and have all chlorine and flouride removed if your tap water contains that and preferably the right ph that minnows like and enough room for them and a good filtration system or plants and weekly water changes and an aerator

i thought you could't use live bait in qubec? but i have some really good videos of us trapping minnows i run about 450 minnows traps in the winter and about 800 in the summer

@pshiel they can live in cool weather in damp grass for up to 4 days, they are in bucket only long enough to get home to a large areated holding tank ...

do you like shallow water for minnows or deep water?

deeper in winter cause the ice will freeze to bottom is shoal areas, and anyhting will work for bait, crackers, bread, dogfood etc
