Never heard of nor heard this great sounding lady until today. Mind you, as a youngster, I listened 2 Baily, Staton, Lena, Carmen McRay etc, but missed this lady. Wow. Although I am most familiar and like Nina's version, it isn't about Nina vs Jean. I see it as two different but great artistic approaches. Why not give them both props? I know I can't sing a lick but I do appreciate the talent and efforts of those that can. I see this all as a win-win. Just my thoughts. Hve a good day all.
