"Psychic" Tarot media bias!

Shame on Whoopi Goldberg, Sandy Ansastasi, and ABC's The View!
I am disappointed ABC's The View would allow the distortions of "psychic" Sandy Anastasi to be broadcast as if they were fact. I wish Whoopi Goldberg were as skeptical as Joy Behar. Not one word uttered by psychic Sandy Anastasi was the truth. I don't mind if people wish to read Tarot cards but the media should stop spreading the distortions and falsehoods that these psychics often espouse. Tarot cards do not have any mysterious origin. The Gypsies have nothing at all to do with the origins of tarot cards and the tarot was not designed for "psychic training" Sandy Anastasi is one of all too many frauds making money from tarot card reading by falsifying the history of these cards. Researchers have a pretty good idea that they first appeared in 15th century Italy. They were not used for any psychic purpose until the 18th century. The media should be more skeptical and stop promoting the lies being told by these psychic frauds. Tarot was made for card games.
Google the terms "tarot card games" "tarock" "french tarot" or "jeu de tarot" and you will find a boatload of info on how Tarot is currently used for game playing. Tarot cards are not myserious. The information about them is now on the internet. There is no excuse for this poor quality of journalism.

@RivaWitch I have little sympathy myself for Christianity. Popular Christianity has been at war against modern biology. The anti-gay bigotry I find barbaric and it's appalling they can't deal with the facts of human evolution. They want science to return to the 19th century. As a game player, I find it appalling how the subject of Tarot is treated in the media. A different kind of Tarot culture is being suppressed. People should know that Tarot cards are also used in games.

Even if it is crap, the artwork is pretty interesting. Plus the Jungian approach to Tarot looks like its of some value.

Just cause we're sceptical of something doesn't mean we shouldn't appreciate it. It's like approaching the Bible from a literary point of view rather than a religious one...
