"You know you are in Japan when you can order Sushi from a touch panel screen that gives you an estimate of how many minutes your order will take to prepare. Beb and I experienced this technology the other day when we went out for Sushi in the Johtoh district in Osaka. I had never seen this technology before and felt somewhat of a country bumpkin as I tried to figure out how to use the ordering system. There is even a hole for you to dump your used plates which it counts and then automatically bills you at the end. Incredibly each sushi dish was 100 yen each which works out to a little less than a dollar. As Beb said, it's fast , cheap and delicious. I'll have to check it out again sometime soon."

for the past year I've been checking different digital menu systems. I think that the best option is the eMenu digital menus, over 900 installations worldwide can prove that. they also have an iPad menu application that is gaining large attention lately.

@salahuddinyusuf That's not that cheap.. there's a good sushi buffet in my town that costs like 15 dollars. I can usually eat like 40 sushi pieces.
