@ter50 i noticed that right when he did the first triplet. makes me wonder why jb made them famous and not mitch mitchell :O.

@akathasamurai Noel Redding was no slouch on the bass.
-
@treekillerelitist when you have a discussion about great British drummers, the conversation is almost always about John Bonham this, or Keith Moon that. But Mitchell's name almost never gets mentioned in the same sentence as the other two.

Mitchell was such a thunder-monkey behind the set.
-
Started spacious good phrasing took his time layered it up good nice jazz interpretation on the rudiments nice finish... like the natural sound of the drums and the tuning.
-
@miss19lolo I wouldn't say so, but I guess that's just my opinion. I wouldn't say he was bad or anything, either, but he had to stand in the shadows of two of the all-time greats... People are going to talk about Jimi & Mitch for years to come, but hardly anyone is going to even mention Noel Redding.
-
@akathasamurai Why? Wasn't he a giant also?
-
Wow... Noel Redding must have felt like such a little bitch standing next to these two giants.
-
wish the sound was better but whatever still a good solo
this is quite possibly the reincarnation of elvin jones wrapped up in white skin with a fro... lets all take a moment to savor the idea....

0:14 - 0:55 this is what John Bonham used years later for the outro of Rock and Roll, especially live.
