@vt250fhonda For the opening part, I prefer the french version. ^^ But if you are referring at the full serie, then you are right: the japanese version is better. What I find sad about the french dub version is... well... a lot of dialogues got changed in the process. Best example: all the ambiguity about Oscar's real gender...

Lady Oscar est un manga magnifique réaliste de l'histoire de France mais tout de même assez poignant pour de simples gamins.
Il y a quand même des scènes plutôt choquantes.

@vt250fhonda I'm Italian, I've lived in France and I've seen the French version of "Lady Oscar" and I have also had the opportunity to see it in German but you're perfectly right: the japanese version is the best. The music is enchanting.

La version francaise est la meilleur, je trouve que la chanteuse/actrice tient bien son role car c'est une belle femme tout en pouvant passer pour un homme. Super !
