This is a Lego Digital Designer movie on how to make a Super Mario Brothers 3 small Mario! Enjoy! According to LDD, it costs $8.37. So there shouldn't be much trouble in building this one, unless you don't have corner pieces. (I'm assuming that whoever is going to build this has most of the pieces they need)
