  • Serenity.

  • Well obviously.

  • just because you can play Japanese music on Chinese instruments doesn't mean it's right. I own a guzheng and wcould never get the same effect as with a koto.

  • very traditional

  • wow, hes good... but he kinda scares me... i dunno why but he does.

  • Look out for Guo Yue he is amazing too

  • Ha ha! You can play Japanese music on Chinese instruments! I can play Sakura on the guqin!

  • Wowo~~ He is one of the most famous Chinese Flute master in China!! Just that... he is getting old. I think he is already around 75~80.

How did you find this clip?

  • chinese musical is the best

  • Friend, Sakura is Japanese song. This is Chinese flute 'dizi'.

    2) Sakura is being played with Shakuhachi (literal 1 foot and 8 inches [japanese]) and vertical bamboo flute), with darker and mysterious tone [for Japanese Buddism] than the

Chinese 'dong xiao' (literal hollow flute, vertical flute) which is usually for calm, longly peaceful medication.
