@BHPhotoVideoProAudio thanks for the advice... Im hesitant because of some of the negative feedback I have read in the past couple days about the NS6... Music 'freezing' and having to calibrate the jog wheels, etc.... I also hear the S4 has better software ? Im so undecided..... any other advice/help ?

I like your video since it explains the beasic ideas of the different effects in Traktor.
But your first example for the chain mode misses the point. At 5:11 all the parameters are on their max which has exactly the same effect as in chained mode... So in this case there is no difference.

@BrooklynStyle106 We have not encountered any consistent issues with the NuMark NS6. That said - many customers prefer the Traktor Pro S4 software which has the reputation of being both simple and intuitive. If you have any experience with digital DJ'ing then the Kontrol S4 FX will be a joy to use.

I , a beginner, truly appreciate your videos. Step by step, easy to follow/understand. Im on the market and have been undecided for a while as to what controller I wanna buy. Im stuck between the Numark NS6 and Traktor S4..... ANY ADVICE ??

@BrooklynStyle106 If this is your first mixer and you want a real "old school" vinyl feel - the NuMark NS6 is the way to go. It's platters are large and have weighted like an actual TT. It is robust and easy to use and is a stand-alone mixer without a computer if so desired.
