The stock pickup has a noticeably deeper low end and more pronounced highs.
The Sheptone sounds good and has more of presence in the mid-bass/midrange which gives it a unique sound.
However, I really prefer the thump of the original pickup. I was listening to this without looking at the video, and every time you go back to that one the pulsing sound really stands up and announces itself. At least that's how I hear it.
Fender sounds better, overall to me, but usually like aftermarket pickups over Fender.
