NOTE: I don't know what the song is really called, because I can't read Japanese. Cave is the song's filename, so I went with that for the name. Call it what you want.

Judging from the name, I'd assume that this would've been a theme for a generic cave or something. It would seem to fit...

You know, Tyrone of Nicalis said that beta elements from earlier versions of Cave Story will be implemented into the 3DS remake... wonder if this song will be in it?

Err, scratch that. White is actually a different track that sounds similar to this. I just didn't notice it until later. ;^_^

It did, actually. It is known as "White" in the final version, and replaces the main menu theme if you beat the Sacred Grounds in a certain amount of time.

@n00byneko Guess it makes sense. Ikachan is believed to use a very early version of the Cave Story engine.
