A cinema verité account of Eliot Feld's early choreography and the founding of his first ensemble, The American Ballet Company. Its first performance took place in Italy at the 1968 Spoleto Festival. Filmed in New York and Spoleto.

  • I'm sure it can be frustrating for someone not to get your vision right. A choreographer has a certain picture in their head about how a dance is supposed to go and it can be very frustrating when someone either has trouble getting the steps right or has trouble seeing the same vision. But, that was pretty harsh.....

  • ok maybe I'm wrong, commented to early, but yes he is an asshole here to (even though a genius) but an asshole as I fondly remember him:) i see him at 890 Broadway still, he is pleasant in the hallways.

  • I belive this is Eliot creating Intermezzo.
