Day Light Robbery

Police are piecing together evidence as they try to unravel how thugs drugged an armed administration police officer and made away with a whooping 25 million shillings. The officer currently hospitalized under guard in a Nairobi hospital was among 3 administration police officers escorting the cash that was being transported in a G4s security van to several automated teller machines at Yaya centre. At least 7 people, among them 4 administration police officers and 3 G4s guards, are in police custody over the cash heist. Police say they have recovered one-million shillings from the house of one of the officers in Shauri Moyo.
