Per Werther 38: In questa occasione c'è stato il superbo debutto al cello solista di Tamas Vàrga e Friedrich Dolezal, formatisi sotto Franz Bartolemey e, che stanno proseguendo l'immensa scuola cellista dei Wiener. Questo brano è stato superbamente CESELLATO.

Are you Lannerianer still debating this??? Lanner himself would likely admit that the developement of the Wienerwalzer was a joint effort between himself and Johann Baptist Strauss. As to the greatness of various composers, it should be noted that people with not even a casual interest in Classical music could hum a few bars of the "Blaue Donau" whereas few classical music afficionados could hum any part of the "Hofball Tänze" walzer. Now quit running down Strauss just enjoy the music already!!
