Yawn. Get your facts straight. The word homosexual was only coined in 1869 when it was recognized as an orientation rather than an act. Other Bibles say catamites, those who abuse themselves with mankind, or effiminate passive. All three have distinctly different meanings. But let's suppose the passage is crystal clear. So what? The ONLY acceptable argument against homosexuality is a rational one, and this the Bible does not provide.

A person does not need hatred or any kind of phobia in order to acknowledge important differences between heterosexuality and homosexuality. Even non-religious people know this.

@tboladave God destroyed Sodom and Gomorroah because the people of that city were evil. What makes you think it had ANYTHING to do with homosexuality? The guards said "bring these men out so we can have sex with them" because at the time, having sex with defeated men was not a sign of homosexuality, but a sign of victory and humiliation over them.

Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed due to evil, not gayness.

i am a christian orthodox !It is a conservative church and many lgbt people struggle in the social and religious realm because of homophobia.!!..but never in my life heard such a silly thing that orthodox christians want to kill gays !!....these are radicals that have nothing to do with faith !!i also think that christian ortodox church should refom and reformulate itself on many issues including lgbt issuse .Jesus's essance is the 'theology" of love

she inherited Heaven because she accepted the Son. And jesus said whoever accepts the Son, accepts the Father. Jesus' redemptive act on the cross is the ONLY work or love that makes Heaven available for acceptance. Not ANY WORK that we could do. love is but a fruit of the spirit we receive when we accept Christs act as a substitute.
