  • he is made of a storm hard to be tammed

  • Ich habe einen Kurs belegt, und unterricht von Herbert Schuch bekommen. es war sehr interessant , wie er ein stück interpretiert

  • yesterday i saw him in the philharmony of cologne, great musician!

  • good sound quality. i`m going to see him playing the piano tomorrow evening.

  • very good pianist. I met him in the Santander competition 2005. He won 2nd prize.

  • BRAVO!

  • A great performance ! Herbert Schuch is one of the best of his generation. I wonder if you have the rest of the Emperor Concerto. Thank you.

  • Oh, don't you know? It has become a tradition in classical music to employ an old man to dance in front of the orchestra, in case the soloist becomes too boring for certain ignorant audience members...!

Anyway, to move on from the fun of taking the piss, I love this rendition; beautiful clear tone from Schuch, and the orchestra is very good- I know the flautist started laughing at the silly old man (!) at 6:37, but the meditative, timeless quality was communicated beautifully.

  • actually it really is a bit weird to just see the conductor when the orchester plays...

  • Herbert Schuch is a marvellous pianist!!!
