On September 28th, 2010, Lawrence University's Principles of Mechanics class (PHYS 141), taught by professors Adam Clausen, Megan Pickett and Jeffrey Collett, recreated Galileo's gravity experiment, the motion of uniformly accelerated objects, by dropping objects (tennis balls, ping pong balls, and a toy stuffed frog) from the top of the atrium in Steitz Hall.
